Space City School of Music is a Music School in the Pasadena/Deer Park area that exists to help aspiring musicians reach their goals. We recently moved to a prime location on Center Street in Deer Park and are adding new students to our roster daily. With all the new students we are getting, we are needing to add another excellent instructor to our teaching team.
Our ideal candidate for the SCSM team is willing to:- Teach one-on-one private lessons and possible group lessons (3-6 students), guiding all ages of musicians on their journey towards their musical goals.- Be relationship-oriented and student-focused, letting the student's goals and aspirations guide you in shaping their individual curriculum.- Be an outstanding team player, ready to go above and beyond for the needs of your students and teammates.- Be ready to learn and be teachable.
Required experience:At SCSM we value relationship, personality, and teachability over musical ability. To apply, you must have a HS diploma or GED. Prior teaching experience or education is a plus, but not necessarily required.
Estimated Compensation (after 90 day probationary period):
Private lessons: $20/hr, Group lessons: $20-$50/hr
